College Basketball Off-Season Training

Hard2Guard Player Development Newsletter 4.12 features an interview with Stanford University’s men’s basketball strength & conditioning coach Keith D’Ameli

o, who previously worked with the Toronto Raptors. D’Amelio is a featured speaker at the 2nd Annual Boston Hockey Summit and Basketball Symposium which takes place on Saturday, May 22nd and May 23rd at Northeastern University. Below is an excerpt of the interview.

D’Amelio: Our first month of off-season training will consist of playing a different sport each week. Week 1 being beach volleyball, week 2 football drills (catching passes, etc), week 3 soccer, week 4 football (drills and play flag football). I think that this will not only keep guys fresh and excited about training while at the same time working on different movements and skills.
