Shooting Workouts with Gilbert Arenas & Ray Allen

by Brian McCormick on November 4, 2009

Why are the great players great? They work the hardest.

The video follows Gilbert Arenas to a late-night shooting session where a Wizards’ scout says that Arenas works out three times a day, so “everyone has rebounded for him.”

The end of the video interviews Ray Allen who says that “NBA stands for No Boys Allowed.” Allen also talks about the work that it takes to be a great shooter.

It is not an accident. These players make themselves into great players and great shooters.
